Research Areas

Research is an ongoing and everlasting process in Bharat Biotech. An overpowering desire to excel, coupled with the dedication to invent, have led our R&D team to undertake innovative translational research projects of immense social and scientific relevance.

Bharat Biotech is presently carrying out research on Bio-Antibiotics, Combination Probiotics, Lysostaphin, THR-100 (Recombinant Staphylokinase Injection), Chikungunya Vaccine, Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine, Oral Rotavirus Vaccine, Malaria Vaccine, Liquid Rabies Vaccine and Staphylococcus aureus vaccine.

Academic Excellence:

In order to foster academic excellence, Bharat Biotech is supporting a M.Tech and PhD. program for its employees. Several employees have benefited from the academic tie-up with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad for their M.Tech and PhD. degrees. Similar tie-ups are being worked out with other Universities. Bharat Biotech has supported project training in diverse areas for several under-graduate and post-graduate students for their Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biochemistry/Microbiology and Biotechnology. A few hundred students have undergone training in Bharat Biotech for their project work. In addition Bharat Biotech has actively supported Biotech Industrial Training Program (BITP) offered by DBT for industrial R&D training.
